Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Training

I trained at the London Centre for Psychotherapy.
I have been a Training Therapist and Supervisor for the British Psychotherapy Foundation (formerly of the London Centre for Psychotherapy).
I am a Fellow of the British Psychotherapy Foundation (formerly London Centre for Psychotherapy).

BSc Hons (Psychology and Zoology), University of the Witwatersrand

Positions held

I have held a number of senior positions at the London Centre for Psychotherapy, including Chair and Vice-chair of Council, Chair of Training, Chair of Professional Practice Committee, Member of Clinic Committee, Member of Training Therapist Committee, Member of Membership Committee. In addition I  have been a training Therapist and Supervisor, and a tutor for the Training and Membership Course.

For many years, I taught clinical and theoretical seminars at the BPF. I chaired the Professional Practice Committee at the London Centre for Psychotherapy for many years, and the (Ethical) Intake Committee at the British Psychoanalytic Council.  My involvement with ethics continued as a member of the Intake Committee of the BPC, where we considered complaints referred to the committee.  I have chaired Panels and Hearings into complaints regarding breaches of the professional codes at the BPC.
